Meet the girls

There are currently 4 soon to be 5 girls here posting their  personal stories with the rest of you. These are the girls that  make up LipglossandBeer.com along with the all the soon to be subscribers. Here’s  splash of information on each girl to help you find out who you may indentify with best.

Molly – Proud Mama to a soon to be “tween” or should I say queen to my PRINCESS, she is my love, my heart, my pride and joy. She is very involved in ice skating, which has really consumed our lives more to come on that time consuming and money sucking project. I used to buy expensive handbags, I now buy ice time. I have worked as a social worker in the mental health field for 10 years, I have been looking for a new career path for 9 of those 10 years. In a serious relationship, been dating for 2 years, I believe as they say “my ship has finally come in” I think. And just a bit of nonsense for you, I love anything fashion oriented; I love clothes, fashion, jewelry etc…

Jersey – I’m divorced twice and a mother of a very challenging teenager. Been thru many years of ups and downs. I entered the single world 5 years ago at the age of 31 and it’s been quite interesting to say the least. I’m very independent and enjoy being single overall and can’t wait to entertain you what I have encountered. I’ve been known to be too nice or as I call it “I don’t know how to be a bitch” haha!, ALWAYS smiling, somewhat a goofball but know when to be serious. I work as a computer contractor but am always looking for better opportunities or ventures. I’m extremely close to my family…almost inseparable and have the most amazing friends in the world….my favorite thing so do is SMILE and I’m hoping it becomes contagious thru all of this…my goal here is to share my stories in hopes that they will leave footprints :)

Kristy- Wife and a mother of a beautiful little girl. Growing up as the youngest child of 5, only one adopted and a daughter of a preacher. Also, grew up in very small towns where in some cases was the only Asian in what felt like a 100 mile radius. Had many things to over come while growing up and things to deal with that I still do to this very day. Recently, been married, less than two years…which has been nothing short of a roller coaster. Have seemed to banded it together and still continue on this very difficult road in creating the ideal family where everyone wins. In the mean time learning that there’s no such thing as a “perfect” marriage or family. As a person is very compassionate, loyal, understanding and creative. Very much of a  computer geek. Works as a full time stay home mommy and freelance web developer and graphic artist.

Natalie - HI, I am Natalie. I am a 30 something (haha) single mother of two children. I have a 12 year old son and a 15 year old daughter. My kids are good kids and I am happy to say that I have done a very good job with them despite not being helped much by their father who I divorced 7 years ago.

I have been laid off from my last job for quite some time and am currently going to school full time. Sometimes my life is quite eventful with dating, socializing and traveling and other times I am very grounded especially when it comes to my kids and school. You will find after reading my posts that I am quite indecisive in the dating department (which explains while I am currently dating 3, no 5 people…it’s part of the ’search’ right? haha) and I will have MANY stories for you. But most of all, you will find that I just say it like it is. I am not afraid to share how I feel even if it shocks you. I probably have the same thoughts and feelings as many of you but the difference is that I will talk about it. I will give you advice but what I really love to do is challenge people and make them think. Don’t be surprised if I play the devil’s advocate.
I am a caring person and genuinely want what is best for everyone whether you are family, a great friend or just a virtual acquaintance. Feel free to contact me at any time. I am a busy mother, dater (LOL!), and full time student. I have a LOT of life experience and can talk about and empathize with just about anything you present me with. Most likely I have been through it myself or through a friend. I have grown into a very strong woman who is very independent in many ways and proud of (most of) the things I have done with my life.
